Hi Hannah,
I’ve been meaning to share my feedback with you for quite some time now. I originally thought about filming myself to express this, but it turns out I’m not a big fan of being in front of the camera—so writing it down will have to do!
I’ve been working with you since the day I brought home my second dog—seven years ago now—and over that time, we’ve tackled so many different things together: adjusting the home environment to reduce constant barking, improving loose leash walking, working on socialisation, and even the Super Sniffer program. Your support and expertise have been invaluable at every step.
One of the most important outcomes from our work together was discovering that one of my dogs had been living with undiagnosed pain. You noticed, quite early on, that she was doing an unusual neck stretch and suggested I get it checked, as it didn’t seem quite right. At the time, I followed up with various checks on her neck, throat, and eyes, but nothing conclusive came from those investigations.
Later, her behaviour began to change—she would growl frequently if disturbed while sleeping or when touched near her tail. I had simply put it down to her being “grumpy,” not understanding what was really going on. That’s when I reached out to you again for help with what I thought was behavioural.
Through your observations and deep understanding of canine behaviour, you gently but confidently pointed out that this might actually be pain-related. You referred me to the wonderful mobile vet, Jodie, who has been incredible. Thanks to her, we finally got a diagnosis: IVDD in the sacrum area, which had clearly been causing her discomfort. Since then, the odd neck stretching has stopped, and while she may need ongoing care, she’s doing so much better—and she’s noticeably less “grumpy.”
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned from you is that dogs don’t growl without reason. Whether it’s fear or pain, there’s always a message behind the behaviour. Careful observation, patience, and compassion are key to truly understanding what our dogs need.
If it weren’t for your insight, support, and dedication, my dog’s condition may have gone unnoticed for much longer. I’m so grateful for your guidance—thank you for everything.

Hi Hannah
Thank you for the workshop Wednesday night.
It was informative, bang on subject matter and delivered in an engaging way. The mixture of factual information, video’s and personal examples of Bob kept my attention and engagement after a very long day at work. The venue chosen was good- easy parking, big enough room maintaining its intimacy level and timing was good afterwork and 1 hour is long enough.

Thank you, Hannah
Your services and support over the past months have been priceless in helping me manage and understand Enzo.
He has transformed into such a well-behaved dog! We went from him running away from the lead, being terrified of car rides, biting my mum and dad, and refusing to be washed, to a well-adjusted, happy pooch who now walks calmly on the lead, enjoys car rides (especially in the van 😂), and even accepts washing. No more complaints from my mum and dad either, YAY!
On top of this, we now have six wonderful dog-friendly places to take Enzo, which has been amazing for fulfilling his social needs.
I truly appreciate your teaching style, patient, calm, and always focused on working with Enzo’s unique character. You’ve helped us both overcome fears, one lesson and one day at a time.
Thank you for everything. You are amazing and so experienced, I would highly recommend your services to all dog owner ♥️
See you next Wednesday for our last session!
Thanks

6 months ago we couldn’t take our dog Derek anywhere apart from a secluded bush walk away from strangers, other animals and distractions. And his future was looking bleak.
Today we have him off lead at the beach and walking on a loose lead without luring.
This is all thanks to the tools Hannah has provided.
Her approach isn’t about “training” your dog but in building a trusting relationship. Everything else just flows and stems from this.
She taught us how being a caregiver is a lifestyle and isn’t an activity to tick off but something to slow down and a process to enjoy. Would recommend PK9B to anybody. Thanks Hannah!

Thanks to Hannah’s tips with how to calm down our dog when people walk by the house, we have used black weeding matting to block our dogs view.
This has already made a world of difference and brought more peace to our dog. so all the work was worth it!!!!!

Just completed a life skills classes with our now 5 month old border collie.

I just recently bought a third dog, a shepherd/husky and wanted her properly trained. I went to puppy school which touched the basics and my dog was able to listen to the basic commands (if she wanted to) so I looked around for a personal one on one dog trainer and heard about Hannah. From what I heard before I met her, she sounded perfect enough and I scheduled my first session and I was not disappointed!!
To me it seemed like Hannah had this amazing presence alone by walking into the door as all my three dogs acted like A-students! She did an amazing job and I learnt so much in such a short time!
I am having some difficulties with all 3 dogs under one roof and I am confident that I can sort it out in time with Hannahs guidance!
I am definitely looking forward to the next session and Hannah is so likeable instantly, it is really fun to train with her together!
Good job!! ![]()

It is very detailed and easy to follow.
It made my life easier but more importantly I can see the difference it makes with my 4 legged clients. It is amazing to see how over excited, anxious and sometimes fearful dogs change into happy, confident, calm and content pooches.
Thank you Hannah for this amazing course and all your hard work.
I am looking forward to seeing and working with a lot more happy pooches. ![]()

The ‘Both ends of the leash matter’ course has been a game-changer for Archie and I. Our walks together are now so much calmer, enjoyable and satisfying – for both of us! The course goes over what dogs really need from their daily exercise (spoiler alert: it’s not just the number of steps), the best comfortable walking equipment, and how to manage those challenging scenarios that can arise on walks. Archie doesn’t pull any more, he checks in with me if he’s feeling unsure about something, and he knows that if he wants to spend 10 minutes sniffing a single blade of grass, then of course I’ll wait for him. Highly recommend this course. ![]()
